Majjic

Miraculous, munificent
your amber waves doth glow.
Of gaseous masses,
planets far-an other worldly show.
Round and gold and beautiful

You make my
senses shine.
Oh mother moon your lustrous
and magnificently divine.

Reigning Thoughts

The raindrops beat a rhythm
on the window pane
the clouds crush close
in bunches.

The sky is grey
with unspoken thoughts
the wind stirring
ghostly voices.

The cows are silent
with watchful eyes
the trees a solemn
monument.

Restless thoughts
wander through my brain
and disappear in the crannies.

Autumn Leaves

Time passes fast,
But I am slow.
Storms will approach with
Different flow.
Sometimes my tears are like the rain.
They stop and start all over again,
Like emotions in your mind,
The same for women and for men.
We all have feelings
Deep within our skin.
Yet we talk in fiction
Did I lose it all or win.
Must I be alone or
Is someone there,
To hold my hand
But really care.
We are homo-sapiens
Emotions fill our heart.
Yet we must watch incessantly,
The silly or the smart.
Take a chance and spin the wheel or
What's the magic word.
Abracadabra, allakazam
The fitting or absurd.
Your heart is where emotion lies
Like filling to a pie.
They all taste oh so differently,
It makes me wonder why.
We're meant to do and not
It seems like riding on a coaster.
Hot or cold it just pops up
Like bread inside your toaster.
So take a chance and vie for life
And let the sun shine in.
If you had not the meanings
of our hearts would not begin.
The autumn leaves they flutter
Whimsically and hit the ground.
With haste, no waste,
The leaves they fall without a single sound.
They are beautiful and varied,
and they do it all together-
The good and bad are all mixed up,
Through every type of weather.
We're like the leaves that
dance and fall
So mindful of each other.
They show us how to get along,
One first and then another.

Mystery -a haiku

Never have I seen
your face yet miles away I
can feel your embrace.

Naive

Dare I wait for love to call
No spare time would i have at all;
But for you in silence gaze
Watching feelings cross my face....
Warmth from deep inside me flows
across the moments wide and deep,
penetrating words that show
even haunting in my sleep.
Folding flowers deep caress
the center of my lonliness;
yet when thine arms upon me are
my heart doth soar among the stars.
Ebulliently coming forth
resounding with love's deep rapport
amid the pounding of my heart
I shall but love thee more.

Wisdom in a Flash

Geez
sometimes it is so hard
to remember or forget
whether today is tomorrow
and yesterday has come and left
right after -there's a fight
for all I know I could get lost
wait-a candle in the nite to follow
but what will be the cost
I am searching for an answer
that I think I'll never find
sliding silently so swiftly
in the dungeons of my mind
can I do it, what will happen,
will there be another day
there are promises to keep
and foolish prices I must pay
is my focus flowing fiercely
in the crannies of my brain
or perhaps I've lost reality
(purposely?)have gone insane
for I have not got an answer
to the question i had sought
or the reasons i am reasoning
perhaps it's all for naught
yet a spark of inspiration
lightens lively in my heart
eventually things come and go
and then they just restart.

Folly's Flight

I will fly without restraint,
I will nestle in the clouds.
No one can hurt me now,
for I am strong and very proud.

There are no chains that bind me
my inner spirit- it will soar;
a place of joy awaits me
where the pain will be no more.

But am I dead or just inside
the turmoil in my mind?
Figure it out yourself
if you would be so very kind.

Haven's Cry

I close my eyes and travel to
an unknown time and place,
where time spent with each other
is a gift-not a big waste.

The people really smile and laugh
and converse with each other,
a friend , or mate, or siblings,
neighbors, workers or your mother.

They have no phone affixed to them,
and meet both eye to eye,
or stroll along the square with others
until the evenings nigh.

They take their time and do not rush
remembering life may be-
so long or short or in between or
in the now......you see.

So when I choose to go there.
I will be in utter bliss.
And the people that may follow,
them or I- you'll never miss.

Goodbye my friends and family,
it's time for me to go-
but remember if you join me,
there is no return you know.

Glory

Silent tears streaming from heaven
gently gracing fertile ground
decorates the living landscape
with a whisper of a sound.

Small green tendrils lengthen softly
water wishes well to all
watch the woods and creatures lively
welcome earth's restoring fall.

Time stands still for just a moment
bringing life to all below
whilst the colors up above
emote the splendor of the show.

Eternity

There lies a portal deep beneath
the silent sands of time,
an entrance to life's journeys
with some reason, little rhyme.
It reappears and disappears,
it waxes and it wanes.
It contemplates and correlates
the common and insane.

Some seconds and some centuries
may pass while you await,
the openings and closings
of this celestial gate.
You'll never know when it may show
for them or you and me,
Euclidean equations of life's
passage--don't you see?

Don't hesitate, don't ruminate
walk confidently through
engaging in the mysteries
created just for you.

The Phone Poem

This hi-tech world's too hard for me,

I text so very horribly!!

It's true I forget to call back-

so phone manners I must lack.

I mean well always please believe.

Salutations -so fun to receive!

In person I would rather speak-

Am told I'm very socially weak,

inept, and mean as well-

but really I am hiding from the

world in my own shell!

I'd rather hug you best of all,

or catch you from a nasty fall.

I drop my phone more than I sneeze.

I actually only want to please.

Sometimes I can't remember things-

Threads are those connecting strings.

And when I miss these lines of talk-

I'm told unnicely Take a Walk !

You're hurt inside and I am too;

Just remember... I love you.

Improve I'll try to pass that test;

But I really think YOU are the BEST!

My Heart's Desire

Your love is like a flower
shining duely unconfessed,
a monument to life itself-
supreme without a test.

A sparkling jewel in the sky-
a treasure so divine,
I thank the Lord most every day
so grateful you are mine.

No words express the love I hold
so purely in my heart.
No nothing in this world could ever
make this joy depart.

I love you beyond reason.
Heaven, listen to my voice.
I will never choose another,
you're my one and only choice.

The years may come, the years may go;
the years roll slowly bye;
but life itself would not exist
without just you and I.
