About me and who I'm looking for
About me: I consider myself a genuine and caring person that has been around the block. I also do not pretend to be baggage free as that would be an obvious lie. I have a wicked and sometimes crazy sense of humor and I love joking around, but I also have a very serious side as well. I do not pretend to be an angel, because I am not. I love writing and painting pictures with words but nothing beats having someone special to share my life with. I am many other things as well but you will have to discover that for yourself. I consider myself a spiritual being having a human experience just as you are right now.I'm looking for: I am looking for a partner that does not pretend to be perfect or have any baggage, as she is trying to fool herself. She would obviously have similar interests and values to me and being into the whole gym thing would count a lot as it is a big part of my life. She would also be in touch with her body as well as her spirituality. Being affectionate is one of my "non-negotiables" as well as being open minded as well....I am looking for someone that I would consider my best friend and not be a handbrake...been there and done that. Thanx for the advice....I will put a shirt on. And so I learn. I guess in my Arian impulsiveness, it felt like the good thing to do but obviously not. I miss having someone to bounce ideas off and I somehow think guys are worse off without a partner than women. It's perhaps the way the creator meant it ?????

Thanx for the observation "happy369" I will change my Photo the moment I can get someone to take a decent Photo of myself. If I do take on of myself once again, I will be criticized for that as well. Please keep in mind that I am new to all this and I ask for a little patience and guidance. When I started on this quest, I honestly did not think it was a problem otherwise I would not of used the Photo in the first place.
It is kind of crazy in a way asking for advice from strangers but who better would set me straight and give me positive although a little blunt advice than from people that have nothing to loose than saying it the way it is......Thanx for this !

Well it has been long enough. You haven't changed it. Clearly the advice is just bouncing off. You have a cell phone, take a pic (except, please not in a bathroom) of yourself with a shirt on and put it up. Sometime in the next 5 or 6 months someone will write you. :)

Hi Happy369. I was born in South Africa and lived on a game farm most of my life. For what it's worth, I have elephant roughly 2,5 kms away from where I live....and they are not in a zoo. Why do you have an issue with South Africa ? I am proud to be South African and I was making a point about not everyone having cameras on their phones and it was not really about elephants. I have taken Ken's advice and I will in due course change my photo. I live roughly 85 kms away from Pretoria and No....it is not a one horse town. The new name of the town is called Bella Bella (formerly Brits) and is home to all the big 5 game of Africa. The moment I have my new photo, you will be the first to receive it as you seem to have an issue with my shirtless body (as well as the "free" roaming elephant which I will have a photo taken specially for you.) Be happy 369...South Africa is truly a beautiful place to live. You are more than welcome to Google "Zabula lodge"...you would enjoy it seeing that you are in fact into travel.

Hi Serena. Thank you...it means a lot to me. So here is the thing...all I was actually hoping for when I posted my profile was perhaps a compliment or two. What women do not understand, is that when guys get older, they never get any compliments and when they do, they could basically feed off a compliment for weeks. I do receive compliments at the gym where I train and it such a lovely feeling that you are actually acknowledged for your hard work. What people do not realize, is that it takes more than double the effort to stay in shape than when you are young.
Please do not ever stop complimenting the guys in your life as it means more to them than you will ever know (even if they do not admit it) I don't blame the people for their criticism because I asked for it but in my heart, I was secretly "fishing for a compliment"......I thank you once again and I send you a big muscular hug :)

Hi Guys....my profile is an absolute joke, albeit not very subtle. My previous one was totally honest and sincere and yet the criticism I received was for my photo and very little for my profile. I thought....what the heck, let me mess around a bit and state that I am this chauvinistic type of guy that does not care about a women's opinion etc, etc, and see what kind of feedback I receive. Some of it was hilarious and I would love to post some of the comments I received via e-mail but respect the people's privacy.
One lady even asked me to be more specific about the type of "gold diggers" I was looking for. If you asked me which profile was more successful ?, the short answer would have to be neither. I suspect we all have an alter ego which is something like my profile but we'd rather keep it to ourselves. If you read my blogs, you would immediately discover the contradiction.
