I wonder why.......

Please can someone tell me whats wrong about what i wrote on my profile that " I like to focus my energy on collecting experiences as opposed to 'things' and would much rather spend my money on a trip to a foreign country than on a fancy new car" A man just sent me a message saying it was an awkward thing to write on my profile....uhmmm now i am wondering all Men thinks women are materialistic and get impressed by fancy cars...

Carx are nice but no car is as nice as a woman like you if i would go for a date i would prefer to do it in a less nice car because i want her to admire the beuty on my inside jo my wealth on my outside and i think if you go abroad and meet new people is always better cars last for 10 years or so love lasts forever

There is nothing wrong with that, each person has the right to make their own decision in this aspect. The best is just to ignore those messages as they are likely to show that you do not have the same values as the person who wrote that. You will be better off with someone who finds it a good decision.
