What I believe

It is well known that life is a long journey with much bitterness and pain. I believed this perhaps because of my limited knowledge and lack of experience. Then a spiritual incident changed my life and now I strongly believe that a happy heart makes a happy life which lasts a lifetime for the others as well.
Also, I learned that love consists of freedom, so, if you love a person, never think yourself as a possessor, but as having given yourself up. If you lose that person, respect their freedom. If the last is difficult for you, it is your own fault whatever.
Life is full of unexpected things which could prevent us from the hope of reaching the scale of love and happiness. It is necessary to struggle against ourselves and never against anybody else. When we start thinking in a different way instead of demanding from others, we really open the door to the real happy life. Only if we could feel joyful after having been tortured by reality, could we understand what real happiness is. I believe real happiness exists only when we have faith in God but it cannot be explained by someone who has not experienced this.
It is believed that life with the right person is a great happiness; on the other hand, with the wrong person, it is bitter and painful. The question is who is the right person and how can we become complete and by whom. The only thing I know so far is that a human can become complete ONLY with the grace of Jesus Christ. We should be at least willing to meet with His Will and His Commandments.
Regarding a "good" person, most people think somebody good is the right person to be with. This is possibly true. But the problem is that I do not know what defines a "good" person. I would say as an example, personally I could be a good person for A whilst a bad person for B. So it depends upon the two people.
Every one of us is looking for true love. Certainly, many people believe in true love according to their own understanding but without reaching it. I have asked myself what is true love and it has not been answered yet. I hope that one day I will receive the best answer.
An author has said: "you have to immerse yourself in an unfamiliar world in order to truly understand your own." It is very simple but very difficult for us to learn and to be aware of our self. We should ask: "Who am I?" "Where do I come from?" "Where am I going?" "What do I want and need?" and "How can I achieve it?" Perhaps we are eager to know whether we are the right person for the other. So before we find her or him, first of all we ought to learn our self. It will be very useful, if we bear in mind that learning and understanding our self takes a lifetime. We must follow our Creator’s path on Earth.
All in all, I believe in true love but I do not believe it will ever happen to me due to lots of uncertainties. Furthermore, it is extremely hard in these newfangled times to find true love. It is essential, therefore, to be friends with Jesus.
Love, however, is not a human invention, inspiration or product. It is a gift from God. Therefore it has to be completely understood that love far from God and without God, is just a false love. This is the reason that millions of marriages have broken down. Nowadays it is very difficult (if not impossible) for a man and a woman to find true love in each other because we all have our own failings and faults, we want to live far away from and without our best Friend.
Last but not least we must understand that the real, genuine, true love is God and that only if we open our heart to Him and allow Him to help us to activate love, will we be able to love Him and each other Therefore becoming friends with Jesus is the only way, if we wish, to find the right person and to become complete.
