About me and who I'm looking for

About me: hello.....I'm an independent woman, strong-willed, confident and educated, funny and witty. I have an easy-going relaxed outlook on life so I hate heated arguments, problems that should be talked over, sorted and move on approach, hate uncomfortable moods. I am able to assess an individual very quickly, make friends easily, am a good understanding listener, adaptable to most surroundings. people do tend to trust and confide in me easily due to my caring persona. love my family and am happy to extend my family by you introducing yours. i don't and can't have any more kids, I love to cook and try recipes from many different types of cuisine from around the world, just have not traveled much apart from family holidays abroad to Spain Greece and France and weekend breaks away camping in the UK. I use to be heavy into athletics, tennis badminton running, then weight training, but due to a serious health issue I had to stop doing so much, but I am ok now, just adapted to the quieter life in which I enjoy growing flowers and veg in my small garden and going on walks and days out with my adult kids and dog.I will be honest in saying that I've had a very bad life and met the wrong men, that's why I know what I like and don't like now haha. love animals and I now have a 2yr old German shepherd and we go on many walks and days out in the car to beaches or forests to let him run free, enjoy art and reading, watching movies and playing games on my laptop, but I think that's just filling time. As a qualified hairdresser and beautician, I have owned my own business in the past and had many different jobs from being a sales rep for a beauty company to a door woman in a club,debt collector, manager in a country pub,i am NOT looking for a crazy mad sex relationship but more companionship and fun, respect, honesty, and friendship. I'm getting on a bit now lol, (Obviously a bit of sex in the mix lol) but overall someone to enjoy being with and someone to miss also.

I'm looking for: I would be interested in a man who has a similar personality to myself, a chilled relaxed outlook on life, that is not easily stressed, short-tempered or moody, can't be bothered with drama, definitely has no violent streeks as I will retaliate, I'm not week and have had self defense teaching. To talk and get to know them over time, not looking to rush into a relationship, so any players out there, don't waste your time with me, I would spot you a mile away, lol. Looks are not what I look for but I have to fancy something about you obviously. Reasonably healthy and fit. Works-(this is not a money issue, it's because i am use to being on my own, pottering about and doing my own thing), is happy with life, reasonably flirty, but with me, not other women, cheeky and can make me laugh. good conversationalist, and open to many discussions on anything about anything, whether it's a serious question to the most random silly thing possible. I do have my own car, but if you don't I'm not into doing all the traveling and paying expenses to meet up, so think on. Overall, just looking for that spark/soulmate to enjoy life with together and fill the missing part in my life.
