First impressions?

I deliberately didn't want a chocolate-box-pretty photo or a conventional pushing-the-dating-buttons description.

I just wonder how the profile comes across as I am getting some very odd approaches from people who have obviously read it: a lot of younger men, some married men, and some much older. Those types didn't message me often before, when I DID have pretty pics and a pretty description. Do I look desperate now? SO not my intention!
