Does anyone think I am to blunt with what I say?

I just signed up to this site 3 days ago and I felt when I was making my profile it was just not really who I am or what I am about. Last night I decided to change it and I feel that maybe I was a little to open, as well not explaining myself where others could understand where I am coming from with my thoughts. But any advice or constructive criticism is welcome. Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts

About me and who I'm looking for

About me: I am laid back and easy going for the most part. I have a very good sense of humor and I always try to keep an open mind. I grew up in the USA and moved to Switzerland 6 years ago and now living in Budapest. I really enjoy traveling, skiing, reading and really love to cook! It is so much more fun when you have someone special to cook with or for:) I also really like old things, be it art, music, literature and most important history from many cultures. I really enjoy talking with others on all these topics and many more. I do not like to control a conversation but no one has ever accused me of not having an opinion..lol;)Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah...

I am not going to sit here and waste my time or yours for that matter on really trying to sell myself to some other being out there. I am just looking to connect with others that are like minded and are trying to be as real as possible in these crazy times. Society is toxic, there is no other word that can describe the state it is in. It tends to drive most people crazy, if not every last one of us at times. I am not here to lie, cheat, steal or sell you plastic monkey's off Ebay. I Just want to be real and find those that see the oneness in everything. I have heard people say that "One person cannot change the world" well I am hear to say that is not true. If we are able to see we are all one, then it is very easy to change ones self;) We do it everyday:) I'm gonna share with you a vision that I had, cause I love you. And you feel it

. You know all that money we spend on nuclear weapons and defense each year? trillions of dollars, correct? Instead, just play with this idea, if we spent that money feeding and clothing the poor of the world and it would pay for it many times over, not one human being excluded we can explore space together, both inner and outer, forever in peace. Think about it

I'm looking for: My ideal match is any woman out there that can deal with anyone who describes themselves the way I just did. Bravo, and my hat is off to that being. Really, I am just looking for that one person who has an open mind and can share their thoughts and experiences with the same:)

Well, if that is who you are, and that is how you talk normally, and that is what makes you comfortable, then that is what you should do/write. I however, would not respond to this profile. It is a little too negative for me, but then again we just would not see eye to eye about life in general.

See, but then again, you might be seeking someone who sees things exactly the way you do. Also, you are in a different country than I am, so what is appropriate there socially could be polar opposite to other countries.

It's your call I guess.
