About me and who I'm looking for

About me: I am not hung up on appearances, but am interested in the person inside the body. We should be able to talk about anything under the sun and share opinions freely. A physical side to the relationship is possible if we both want it. I am proud to work for the Salvation Army and to be a part of God's help for those whose lives are not going too well right now. I received an MBA degree on May 7 and was just admitted to the MA program in History. I have loved school since I was a kid and learning keeps your brain active. I also love books, needlework, and interesting conversations. I’m really good at almost any kind of needlework, reading and working with numbers. I am a good listener and try to always keep an open mind and see other people's side of things. My hair is the color God made it and my face is clean of makeup. What you see is what you get. I love science fiction, history and books about other cultures. I am reading a book about the Mayan prophecy for 2012, written by decendants of the Maya themselves. I like classical, country and folk music and chinese food. The six things I could never do without: God, my children, my knitting needles and crochet hook, a decent job, someone to talk to and my cat Zoey.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what God wants me to do to help others, my kids and the problems they are having in their lives. I dream about finding someone who will care about me and for me. I had such a man but he died of cancer almost four years ago. On a typical Friday night I am sitting in front of the TV watching the SciFi channel or NCIS and making a ball of yarn into something warm for a stranger. I enjoy the work and can justify spending money on the yarn that way. You should messgae me if you are looking for a friendship that could develop into something more.

I'm looking for: An educated man who can converse on any topic and not get mad. He should believe in God. The specific religion is not important. We won't know if something is possible until we try.
