Honest thoughts/opinions please

I have been using this website for almost 2 years now...i have had to create myself a new profile as for some reason my old one got deleted. In the time i have been using the site i must have only had about 3 responses, which i feel is a pretty lame strike rate. obviously i am doing something wrong so if anybody could shed some light on what that might be then please let me know.

Really, I like what you have on your profile. And I can see by your photo you are a good looking man. But really honey the photo is doing you no justice at all. Your looking a bit scary there with your eyes. Now I just want to help so don't flame me, but my initial reaction to your pic is that I would keep away. Try smiling and taking a photo in the sun, make it look friendly not scary! I hope that helps.

I'd say the problem appears to be that there aren't that many people in your area (country) 0n this site. Sad as you appear like a good package to me. Especially as you've taken the time to get proper education. Keep trying, good luck.
