We must have posted these last two comments at the same time....Yes,saw the link...It's very beautiful tree,but it must live only in warmer climes....To grow it here would not be successful....Unless it was in Kew Gardens.....(Botanical Gardens) ....

Hi you two good looking chicky babes, that tree grows just about all over OZ. Looks great but do they make a mess, or as you would say a carpet of dense purple flowers, but you must be careful as millions of bees are still collecting nectar from the fallen flowers,,,,
