Easy Sausage Gravy with Biscuits Recipe

I've made this recipe for years.
Easy Sausage Gravy with Biscuits


1(16oz ) Can refrigerated Jumbo Biscuits.

1(9oz.) package sausage.

1/4 cup flour

2-1/2 cups milk

Salt and Pepper to taste


1. Bake biscuits to directions

2.Meanwhile,cook sausage in large skillet over med head for 5-6 minutes or until throughly heated.

Stir in flour.Gradually add milk,cook until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.

3.Split biscuits in half.Place 2 halves on each 8 plate.

Prep Time: 8 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Number of Servings: 8
Yield: 8 servings
Style: American

That recipe for Sausage/Gravy & Biscuit is exactly what I was raised on as a kid.
Options: Add sliced tomatoes, and eggs, on the side... Best ever!

If you like your sausage gravy kind of brown like at Bob Evans burn the sausage a little bit before you put in the flower I think personally has a better taste :-)
