Great atmosphere but not great enough to stay for longer than one drink unless they have sorted out the plumbing problems.

The Market bar as Ciaran suggested is a great spot as they don't play music and you can actually hear yourself talk. I think you may actually mean the Corner Stone, Skimpers. The Long Stone is on Townsend Street, beside Macturchalls.
