anniebaby: An old friend from here just told me to let everyone know Travel lodge is a €25 taxi ride away from the meet. Just a heads up it's a expensive taxi ride when there is places closer

Firstly, great your coming along, nice to see some familier forum faces putting up for the get-together....
Secondly, I know for a fact the Bunratty Manor hoitel is booked out with a wedding on that date, moreover, there room rates were between 98 and 110 euro per night (breakfast included), but the point is moot if there full...
I really had no idea of taxi costs, the venue and travelodge (ennis rd) are 7 minutes apart, ( I make the journey every time i go to Limerick)...how such prices can be justified i dont know...
That said, ill look at travel options (people carrier / mini bus) and the cost of staying at the Bunratty hotel (as mentioned by stan)...
Ok so, And finally, plenty of looks at the sign-up post, come on new members, dont be shy, sign up for a great night out....
Really, were a friendly bunch and we dont bite!....

Ill post all new information on this thread....

Their website took the booking and my credit card details, and I got the confirmation email there and then. Two minutes ago I got another email saying there was no availability for that date. I don't quite know what's going on there, I'll buzz them tomorrow to find out one way or another.
