Hi, georgie thanks for your interest. It starts at 9pm, however you are more than welcome to come over anytime after 8pm for a chat and see what the craic is. Looking forward to meeting you. Door fee is 8 euro. to cover event costs.

I have empathy for them and would normally support their cause. However, I started a happy and friendly little thread here advertising a new event that hopefully will bring lonely hearts and deserving singles together. I really don’t want any negativity to spoil the atmosphere. I say this with the greatest of respect to you, so my friend, please drop it, at least on my thread.

Hi minx thanks a million for your interest and I hope you thoroughly enjoy the event. Please note it is only experimental at this stage and with minimal advertising, infrastructure etc. We hope to get a momentum going for a regular “festival of love” in Galway. Ideas and inputs before and after would be most welcome from CS members. Can’t wait to meet you.

My self and a musician friend decided to start this event in the hope it will grow into one of the many great festivals that Galway is famous for.
There is a small entry fee to cover costs and help make it a great night. The venue is particularly unique and romantic and right in the heart of the city. The hall seats 80 and is part of the ancient city walls with beautiful lighting, stonework and oak beams.
So why not come on down. Travel down on Sunday morn or Saturday, relax and stay a couple of nights - Galway Rocks!
I have reserved a special candle lit table and will personally provide VIP service for Connecting Singles members.
