Nova Scotia scenery and celtic drums & pipes hauntingly beautiful. Once again awesome cast & my fav filmmaker as well. Best movie music I've heard.

Bridget Jones' Diary #1
sweet, funny, and very human. Have seen it OOOh - a dozen times maybe.
4
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
IMO Marilyn's best, with perhaps Some Like It Hot in contention for that honor, daddy! The fashions showcased in this film are the best I've seen in a single film This movie IS a fashion show in Paris.
5
Breakfast At Tiffany's
Love Audrey Hepburn. The scene in the early a.m. that opens the film is one of my favorite movie scenes of all times - reminds me of my college partying days!

But to the first commenter, I again would invite you to make your own list rather than criticize mine. I do not understand what kind of weird perverted thrill you get by criticizing my film choices. I don;t think praise of these films is exaggerated and I will even venture a guess that you have not seen them all.. I can say definitively that you must absolutely be American born & bred to appreciate most of them, and from a western culture to appreciate the ones that are not American. So I will pardon your rude comments on the thought that not being American, your understanding is quite limited (of these films).
Did you ever see "Crazy from the Heart"? with Christine Lahti? Lighthearted comedy.
shipping news was more practical.
the rest are over exaggerated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
