Tonic1.The problem with putting this up is that you will never get a real answer because guitar players are always evolving (Slash)I worked with bands back in the 60s/70s and you have missed the point. A good guitar player is somebody who brings enjoyment to those who listens to him/her no matter what category they play. there is no one player better than another it is only non players who try to do that
