I really don't get how a rock fan could not like Pink Floyd, they are simply amazing. David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright.
These guys are seriously talented and one of the most influential rock bands after The Beatles of course. Just listen to have a cigar (Roy Harper on vocals I know) And Hey You, I could sit here and name a girthy list of songs but i'd be here for quite some time. The combination of Waters concepts and lyrics and Gilmours guitar/vocals (as well as the fine musicianship of Rick Wright and Nick Mason)produced a force that generates Pink Floyd addicts to this very day. Few quick notes about pink floyd:
They are their own categoy
Their last tour was the most espenxive one in music history
The above concerts were being played at STADIUMS full of people, inside and outside
The cops there couldn't even arrest people with drugs (marajuana, LSD). I can't even remember how many times someone passed a joint to me

Not really much I can say, John Lennon and the guys from Liverpool captured the world emotionally. I don't think anyone that knows music properly could slag the beatles of with rage. Although I think John Lennon was a bit of a c*ck lol, but a good man, everyone seems to love him but ive done some research.
But they aren't being judged on personality.
