I don't understand the fear of divorce. I was married and divorced. I left with only our daughters and my personal belongings, paid rent a month in advance, as well as the other bills. He was ordered to pay $100 a month and didn't bother paying it. I had no problem with it as long as he was a good dad and spent time with the kids. It seems to be a gross generalisation of men, period. Every man is in a different situation and probably is willing to be married if the right woman came into his life. Sure men would be hesitant if she wasn't the right one and so he should be, it's a huge decision to make in one's life and shouldn't be taken lightly.
In these modern times there seems to be a gross gender imbalance in favour of the female in regards the divorce law courts and until this is rectified many men should be very wary of who they marry and what their new partner is entitled to.
Men are funny beings too, no matter how unattractive the woman, someone will be doing the nasty with it!

This is a controversial topic, for sure! In my own experience all i can say is that some men are so hurt that cant overcome all the bad experience (trauma) of a broken marriage that they end up saying no more! However, after divorce and loneliness they realize they can give themseleves another try. So, once again, meet a new woman, who also falls in love with them, but then, if there is a problem in the new relationship, these men are so terrified of their own past bad experience, that prefer to end up alone again! I find this is very sad, difficult and unfair to deal with, because they have already met someone special with whom they said they want to start a new life and so on. But when things get serious... and time passes by, they are so afraid of committment and all their past bad experience takes over him!! My question is, what to do with this type of man? There is a woman out there waiting for him, loving him so much, but he is still afraid of sharing his life again... and reluctant to committment. I had two cats - great at catching mice, rats and rabbits. They were working cats.Anyway, single men don't live as long as married men, which sounds very strange. But my guess is that single men have a poor diet and that's the reason. Mostly.

I agree with zimmbo . Women get what they want and never get satisfied. If you give a mouse a cookie, she then thinks she deserves some milk. Dammit woman...., be happy with the cookie you get and forget about the milk. You knew about how much money your man makes before you realized you wanted more. Hey Dude, I have been playing guitar since age 13, and still Rock at 60! Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes are phenominal as was Stevie Ray Vaughn. Most of their songs I sing at kareoke. I would like to start a 60's Psychedelic Band playing Iron Butterflies, "In the Gadda, Da Vida", others from the late sixties and alot of my own mixture of Rock and Blues, songs that I have written. Its not a drug or trip thing with me, ITS LIKE THE DOORS SAID , ITS THE MUSIC MAN, BREAKING THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE!" A HIPPIE 4EVER
