More About Me
Looking for a co-pilot through life. Semi-retired from I.T. stuff but still doing a bit, as well as occasionally running a small micro-brewery. Local Town Councillor and involved in local affairs. I have a little holiday home in Italy as well as a 300-year-old barn here in Denbigh, both of which I'm slowly doing-up. I have an old convertible sports car which I drive regularly - took it to Italy in 2021 and 2022 and plan to go again 2023. In good health and not on any medication, apart from a bottle of good red wine.
I'm a native of Manchester, so my English is absolutely perfect! - but I can make myself understood in Welsh and French, and I'm learning Italian. I also know at least 7 computer languages :-) and I usually manage to get on quite well with dogs, although the communication is more-or-less one-way.
Things I've done in my life - climbed mountains in the Arctic, flown a hang-glider, walked the Sandstone Trail, shaken hands with the Queen, helped keep Concorde flying, driven through most of Europe, worked in a bakery in Norway, smuggled computers into Switzerland, produced programmes for the BBC, and several things that I'd better not admit to in public.
By the way, if you're outside Europe then you will be wasting your time "liking" me.
More About my Match
Not easy to describe. I think that, like many people, I'll know when I get there! Has to be someone who's up for adventures and whose approach to new things is "let's give it a try at least once". Nice to find someone who speaks Italian, and/or lives in Italy, but not vitally necessary. And by the way, if you have strong religious beliefs, then we will not be a good match. Ditto if you are teetotal or vegan, or under 50 year of age. Bonus points if you wear stockings! (Ooops - sorry)
