- As a Manager at women's network called WITTT ( Women i toktok tugeta) I am required to mobilize women and facilitate trainings on human rights and build women's capacity in disaster risk management. We create a very strong network in the community. In 2015 after the cyclone Pam that hit the island I work with women to create safe space for women so that they can come together, share their problems/issues and create opportunities for standing in solidarity during disaster.
I held a meeting and training with women and young women to discuss solutions that might help them during the time of disaster. I then discussed the situation with my team. I sent communications calibrating about the solutions and how women are working together to address climate chance
