I have traveled extensively both in this country and abroad, largely a result of my time in the Air Force and am so far from complete. My bucket list is a rolling addendum; I moved to Alaska following the death of my son and returned to Gulfport this February past, New Orleans and now Oregon. My preferred method of travel is motorcycling so if that’s a deal breaker, be forewarned.
I have never followed the masses, I am an honest man believing in chivalry. Seems the vast majority of men lack the basic qualities distinguishing a man from an adult male; honesty, integrity, loyalty, devotion, sincerity and/or commitment. My truths are not always what fall most pleasant on the ears but this I know with all my heart; there is no future in a lie.
So . . . Background, likes, defining character, all that remains is the hard part. What do I want? I hope I can never fully answer that . . . A predetermined desire could blind a man from the bond of a lifetime if he were looking away, and also remove God from the decision. My hopes are to find a soul with similar but not identical tastes and beliefs, able to see the beauty of any day regardless the weather, honest and sincere, compassionate with time for a friend.
