More About Me
Well I have been on this site for a while now and the time has come to update my profile. My intro line was and continues to be- I work hard and play hard. It took a whole lot of courage with not a great amount of money in my pocket, but, I changed careers in mid life and finally my job is not a "job". I enjoy all things outdoors. That sentence needs some revision-I enjoy all the things I've tried outdoors- I have never been on a dogsled nor a snowmachine. I would come closer to enjoying the dogsled than the snowmaching because I feel I'd miss seeing something cool going 35-50 or more on a snowmachine. But having said that, I'd like to try both. My friends say I am a great cook. I was raised in the deep south therefore I can't help but be a good cook. I can, sew, raise a garden, tend bees, read, enjoy a good laugh and time with friends. I'm self reliant and loyal. I get bored, mad and sad sometimes, I really prefer to just be happy with what's at hand. I enjoy my horses, my home, my son and having adventures. After all our memories are all we're left with when we grow old.
So, I know I'm over 50 but I AM ACTIVE, I don't just think about things I did way back when and think I used to do these things, I STILL do them. So please guys, it's very sweet, but if you don't regularly hike, bike, goldpan, fish, hunt, camp, ski, be able to discuss things and not have to agree, just pass me by please. I'm looking for a guy to keep up with me and one I have to keep up with, not someone I have to wait for. I like quiet nights and snuggling too, but can't we do that in a tent on an alpine meadow?
