My name is Ciro pronounced Cheero, it's a Neapolitan name and yes, I've heard them all before.

I'm a Sapiophile.

I'm very arty although I work on Aircraft for a living.

Currently working in Christchurch in order to seek out a place to retire to.

Have a tangential sense of humour. Heroes include: Spike Milligan, Tommy Cooper, Dave Allen and many more of the same ilk.

Like to do crosswords, cycling, (the pootling around sort) filming/editing, playing guitar.

Currently into carving, well, advanced whittling.

Have lived and worked abroad in Europe and the Middle East and travelled a bit but still more places yet to see.

Love to be by water, be it the sea or large river. Goes to the core of our beginnings don't you think??

Love our language and its rich mix of words derived from the many other languages of our invaders.
