I have been a widow for four years and have lived alone for 8 years as my husband was in a nursing home for 4 years before he died. I am very independent. However, I am tired of having to go everywhere I want to go alone. I enjoy attending church activities, live theater, concerts, basket ball games, going for drives and enjoying nature, lots of conversation about a variety of topics, and talking about my grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
I am a Christian and enjoy attending and leading Bible study groups. I am active in my church here in Canton, SD. I live alone in a one-bedroom apartment and am not allowed to have any pets so I had to give my little dog to my son when I moved here to be near my oldest daughter and her family after my husband died. I was happily married for 33 wonderful years.
