A man who is a man, yet has the capacity to show compassion to both animals and those less fortunate. A man who is not vain, self centered and demanding his own way, a man who can control his temperament and remember it's not generally acceptable to hit women. A man who does not use deceit and underhanded methods. A man who knows how to budget, rather than waste money. I would appreciate a man who is tolerant, supportive, with a reasonable intellect and whose interests are broad. Sailing would be nice but not all men are have been bitten by the Sea Siren. The sea is a Siren, I discovered this myself when I spent six months as crew on a three masted Schooner 115' Camper Nicholson 1926. Just walks by the ocean would be as good, or maybe a holiday on a small cruise Liner. I'd like the man I meet to enjoy good food of all varieties, many Italian dishes require little meat content and fish is not only healthy but good for us. Salads, good veg, healthy rice. I myself enjoy Thai, Italian, Greek, and certainly some middle eastern dishes.
It would be a bonus if a new partner had traveled as widely as myself - from Europe, east to Egypt, Sri Lanka, Maldive Islands and west to Canada & US. In other words a broad minded worldly person.
