More About Me

Hello,

I'm Peter, aged 54 from UK, single, easy-going and good sense of humour. Just looking for some fun until I leave on 25th November. I'm here on Gozo for one month and really enjoying discovering this place. I'm staying in a farmhouse in Qala halfway between Hondoq Bay (I call it Hot Dog Bay) and Zeppi's pub in the town square.

I'm a professional engineer (self-employed) and have worked in oil & gas for the past 20 years. I have my own home just west of London and decided in April I didn't need to work any more - so now I've retired.

I have two grown daughters who still live near to me and 3 beautiful grandchildren (boy aged 5 and two girls aged 3 and 2). I adore my kids and grandkids and because we're so close I get to spend lots of time with them.

So now I've retired I decided to spend my life doing what I love most - travelling and spending time with my family. I've decided i will spend 1 month travelling and 1 month at home. My first trip was in September when I spent 4 weeks in Switzerland and Gozo is my second. Next year I'm thinking of spending some months in Europe and maybe 2 months in British Columbia, Canada (I love spectacular scenery and beautiful mountains and lakes).

I'm also passionate about all types of music and really enjoying the live music in Zeppi's pub in Qala. Yesterday I joined a group of people and took a kayak from Hot Dog Bay to the Blue Lagoon and Camino. Wow, really beautiful. I've really fallen in love with Gozo.
