I was formerly a Facilities and Procurement engineer for IBM for over 22 years before layoff. Looking to meet the other half of my soul to spend time with and possibly more. I like volunteering and helping others. Besides being online, I like to read, cook and garden and learn new things. I read somewhere that you keep young by learning something new every day. I don't believe that refers to TV. I am also a sports fan and love to attend baseball, hockey and soccer games. Played all at other times in my life. I had cataracts fixed last Summer and excited to see what I missed swimming all those years not being able to see!
Not much a fan of the cold weather anymore and waiting patiently for Spring and the warm weather to return.

I live a fairly simple life and looking for someone low maintenance as I am.
