More About Me

Retired teacher. I moved here in August 2015 and love it here ( wish I'd done it earlier).
Family and friends are important to me. One of the reasons I moved here was to be close to family. I am active and quite fit. I like walking, and do so regularly. Love the outdoors and anything to do with water, in it, on it or under it. Have experience of sailing ( sailed across the Atlantic) and have recently acquired a small boat. Love to have a project and have picked up a number of DIY skills over the years. I also love to travel which I have been fortunate enough to be able to do. I enjoy reading and crosswords, music and live entertainment.

More About my Match

My ideal match would be someone who compliments my interests and could add to them to do things together. A young outlook with strong family ties and a good sense of humour. Not looking for "perfection", but someone to share activities and the more quiet moments that are inevitable.
