I am a middle aged man with a full head of hair and a belly to match. I have never been married. Although I have been engaged a couple of times if that even matters? I spent to majority of my life as a shy creature too scared of his own shadow to say boo, but age seems to have matured me and I'm not like that anymore. I currently look after a family member full time so my time is mostly taken up. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies and computing. I know I sound like a couch potato, but I'm not normally. My current situation just doesn't leave me much time for getting out and about. In a perfect world I would get out everyday to go to the gym or down to the park and walking amongst the trees. I used to run but find walking is easier on my knees nowadays. I love music, mostly alternative and have been described by more than one ex as having the musical tastes of a student. I personally think that a little unkind.

I am looking for somebody understanding they will never have all my attention. I pretty much get along with anyone, but if you think Donald Trump is great don't even bother. I have dated out going people and shy people and as long as you can hold your own in conversations we should be fine. Everyone gets on here and either is an out and out pretentious toss saying they will only date the pert and pretty, or lie and think their chances are better by saying something lame like I don't care. Fact of it is looks matter if you aren't attracted to one another what's the point. So yes looks matter, but so does personality. Age doesn't matter, life experience is always more important, money or kids or anything like that doesn't matter because we all come as we are and either you're accepted or you're not.
Occupation
My primary job is looking after a family member fulltime, but there is no drop down for that job. I guess you could also say I am a writer, as I did publish a cook book last year and have been working on several other writing projects at the moment.
