Outgoing and ambitious - that's me! I love to be active and adventurous. From rapelling to whitewater rafting, I am willing to try near anything once. I have an upbeat personality and truly try to surround myself with postive people that bring out the best in me. I have two successful and independent adult children that mean the world to me and I try to spend as much time with them as they will allow (haha). I hold an M.S. in Psychology and Nursing and am currently enrolled in a Doctorate program for Psychiatric Nursing. Although paper writing is not my forte, education is an important aspect of my life that will enable me to meet my end goals, and I take out my homework aggressions on the treadmill and weight set that I use to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It's a good balance, but I would prefer to be rollerblading along the boarwalk or hiking in the woods with a partner. For relaxation I really enjoy a good book or to float in my pool. I love to spend a day at the beach or an evening cooking to smooth jazz music that ends with a glass of wine on my outdoor patio. I have travelled to many destinations for work including Japan, New Zealand, Virgin Islands, and Hawaii and have truly enjoyed experiencing different cultures. I feel that there is so much more for me to explore; I am not done travelling and Spain, Ireland, and Africa are on my itinerary. I also have an appreciation for the arts and enjoy strolling museums or attending plays, and I'd really like to experience an opera.
