I am a single Mom and Caregiver of an adult that has multiple disabilities. Kid is a riot! I am very devoted to her but at the same time I am looking forward to her gaining her independence and moving out in hopefully a couple years hahaha
I am a poet and music addict who is often out exploring, hmmm or out seeing a good band and laughing with friends. I occasionally read my poetry at open mic night.
I have had many challenges since relocating almost 6 years ago but am looking forward to a bright sunshiny future. Working with an amazing physio therapist that is helping me get stronger than I have been in my lifetime and more toned than I have been in years. Getting healthier is important to me. I would love to meet someone who believes it's important to get healthy as well cause if you are "the one" I won't want to lose you young.
I eat completely gluten free! Eat what you want though! What's that, pizza? I will have a double mushroom, extra cheese with a gluten free crust please! Oh maybe some beef and pineapple on it too (grinning) Tacos? Sure! Mine on a gluten free corn shell though please, Mild salsa, not into spicy food. Perogies? Oh please don't torture me! Although we have wheels I more often than not am walking, busing and sky training all over the lower mainland exploring... checking to see what I haven't seen yet and seen what has changed on what I have seen already. Have you ever noticed how many shades of green we have in Vancouver? Or how many shades of blues and grey we have in our sky here? Breathtaking!!! Then look up at our gorgeous mountains or out at the water and my mouth drops open in amazement, doesn't yours?
