Hi. I am revising this profile since the previous one was several years old. My daughter and her family live nearby which is why I moved up to Reddick. There was a beautiful old (1928) house that we always called My house and it went up for sale so I bought it for a good price because it was in need of so much work. After having a septic put in and a complete new roof put on, after the giant tree branches were removed from over the house, it is now up to me to finish the rest. Fortunately I have the rest of my life to do it....
Casual is my lifestyle which goes for my clothing and demeanor. I am very laid back, do not get involved in political or religious drama and try to live "in the moment". Life can be enjoyable if your outlook makes it that way. Of course there are always Those Moments.
Healthy eating is important but I'm not an exercise fanatic. I can work hard but I can watch TV for hours if that's what I want to do. Sunshine makes my brain happy. I love all the critters, plants, and trees ...... I'm down to one horse and many dogs. My dogs live in the house with me which makes for lots of loose dog hair that needs to be swept or vacuumed frequently. That's about the extent of my house work skills. I've been attempting to fix a few washers and dryers that I don't want to part with, also remodeling this old house and anything else that strikes my fancy.
I like people but do not go drinking or clubbing. Nice group dinners are more my speed. Pot lucks a great. City life is not my bag either although I no longer want to live hundreds of miles from stores. I do hope this profile gives you the full picture which most of you will click off but maybe, just maybe......... one will enjoy.
More About my Match
I would like to meet a relatively tall, jean wearing, non-smoking man around my age, who can still get around and who loves to tackle construction and farming. Teeth are very important to me so big spaces and rotten are out. I mentioned this above but jeans must be the clothing of choice for this man. Must love and tolerate lots of animals. A good sense of humor is always a plus. Also, must not eat only to live. Food is fun and though I don't try to be a pig, eating should be enjoyable.
I have gotten a lot of responses from men in their 40s which is too young. I will consider men 62 and up but cannot imagine dating anyone younger than that.
