I take friendships and other relationships quite seriously. I enter into committed partnerships very carefully and take them very, very seriously. In that I am now single, unfortunately sometimes the best of plans don't work out.
To me, chivalry is not archaic. It should be taught by parents and in schools. I feel that Chivalry and the ladies equivalent should be be a requirement of citizenship. It should be practiced today. My lady shall feel and be safe, secure and comfortable at all times. I would hope any lady responding to this wouldn't think a gentleman is chauvinistic for holding a door and at a meal seating his lady, placing the napkin in her lap and kissing her on the cheek or for bringing someone to task who has been rude or disrespectful to her. Yes, I really do these things. Sadly Chivalry is being lost in our society.
Right now I am looking to casually date a lady who has the same values as me. A real lady that appreciates and enjoys being treated as a gentleman should treat his lady and treats me like the gentleman I am.
