I am a relic from time gone by. Almost everything I like is from the past. So much of the modern world seems cold, hard and ugly. Very little appears real, or straightforward, anymore. I'm neither clever, rich nor particularly ambitious for success. I feel that the things that we own end up owning us. All we have is time and there isn't even a great deal of that left.
However, I have always felt fortunate and I'm grateful for the life I have had. I live alone in Kensington, try to exercise every day and eat healthy food. I don't drink or smoke and my life rarely gets out of second gear. I like it that way. I hope that I haven't just sent you to sleep!
