I was born in AZ. I quit High school and joined the Army at age 17 as an infantry soldier. I spent a year in Vietnam and 3 years as an enlisted obtain the ranks of Sgt.I got married and we had our first child.
Upony my discharge Owe moved to Tempe and I attended Mesa Community and ASU PLUS worked 5hrs a day. I received my A.A. from MCC an A B.A. from A.S.U in 1974 and M.A. in 1975.
I also obtained a commission as an officer in the US. Army Reserve and spent 2 more years on active duty. After spending several years in the reserve I resigned my commission as a captain.
I also spent 30 years working as a teacher, counselor, social worker, vice principal and principal. I retired several years ago.
