Being a Christian means you have accepted the Jesus Christ as your saviour by being born again spiritually .Not because you attend a church,or not because you think your a nice person,but because you realized you are a sinner, repented(changed your mind) about sin and our own ability to satisfy the demands of God's righteousness. and agree with God that we need His righteousness.

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Jesus became sin for us, and it is only because of this we are saved.Through faith in His grace,not of anything we do..Ephesians 2:8-9 ~ John3:6-7.

I put widowed on here, because I was married to the woman I loved for over half my life.till she went home to be with the Lord in 2004. I did make a mistake and married someone for a short time. It only lasted14 months..I am not trying to make an excuse for it.. I also would tell someone if I became interested in them. I found it best to say here and now about it however.
