More About Me
About me? I am a recently divorced mom of 2 wonderful kids. I work in education, so breaks and holidays are my time to relax and have fun! I am looking for a friend first and foremost; anything else can form naturally.
When I actually have "free time", I am most likely hanging out with my kids, painting or writing. We play board games as well as video games and recently started a tabletop RPG that we are trying to navigate through. When I am super stressed, I'll work a puzzle of some kind. Other than that, I haven't ever gotten to go out and do things. I was married for almost 15 years, so I am currently trying to figure out what "being myself" means and what I would like to do for fun. I never had a chance to find out, so bare with me. I am a book nerd; I almost always have a good comeback or a mom-pun; my friends say I am loyal and reliable and the best friend to come to with problems.
More About my Match
I want someone who wants to be friends first. Intellect and common sense are a must have. He would be supportive of my education/career, knowing that sometimes I get a little buried under paperwork and I will cry if my students are in difficult situations. On those days that I come home after dealing with children who have been removed from homes or have parents who were arrested for drugs, he would have a listening ear and understanding that I care about a lot of people (and on those nights, we might do something quick for dinner and watch a movie!).
He is funny; the epic snark-offs will be legendary. If he is a dad, he has to have some good dad jokes, or the deal is off.
Occupation
I am a teacher who is certified EC-6.
