I love the outdoors and just about anything to do in it, camping, cycling, fishing, hiking, plinking... etc.
In my free time I do love restoring airguns & collecting various antiques. Otherwise I'm usually exploring a new book, (or an old favorite. ^^) listening to my small but lovely assortment of records or just play some video games.
My interests in reading are about as vast as my musical preferences, not much I can't get deeply immersed in, but to pick some favorite books: Call of the Wild/White Fang, Harry Potter series, Les Misérables, Anything James Patterson wrote.
As far as music goes, my interests generally vary with my mood. It's frankly easier to say the only things I'm not terribly fond of are Rap and Death Metal, though I do like most of Eminem's music. I can't really describe my musical tastes, so I wouldn't expect someone else to understand either. xD
I'm not terribly comfortable in crowds, yet not a day passes I don't dream of traveling to France and other countries, I have a particular interest in French history and culture and it's been a dream of mine since I was no more than 10 to walk the streets of Paris. My current position in life doesn't much allow for such expensive things, but it's been 20 years and that dream isn't going anywhere. ^^
I'm not certain if I want children yet because my own parents divorced when I was 3, so I'm not bringing a child into this world until I know my significant other will love and protect them every bit as much as myself. My life does not revolve around s*xual activites, but I am a very affectionate & sensitive person. (I don't know for certain because I've never had a girlfriend, I don't think terribly of myself nor do think I'm gay, I simply never had the courage to actually date.)
More About my Match
Someone who can appreciate the little things in life, I was raised by my grandparents so I have a deep admiration for antiques and history, some might call me "old fashioned". That's most likely because I'd rather bird watch than watch television. lol
I've always been a homebody, yet I wish to travel and see the world, so I might love getting out a lot more if I had someone to share it all with.

I'd love to have a friend who could join me in the journey of learning French, I've come to understand truly learning the language takes hearing a fluent/native speaker pronounce certain words and pronunciations and none of my family has any desire to learn another language. I started learning simply to have a goal and build some self-esteem, the thought I may never need to use that knowledge doesn't discourage me one bit as I feel great joy in simply learning.

Dropped out of school in the 8th grade due to a very hostile and prejudice school system where I grew up. Pursued and attained my G.E.D shortly after and been a searching for my career ever since.

I don't go to Church as I believe if you need to speak with the lord, he is always there for you no matter when or where you need him. I find bliss and strength from Nature and all it's beauty.

Dining services coordinator (server) for local retirement home, My job consists of general upkeep of the dining room, caring for individual residents needs in the dining room and being punctual.
