Well first of all thank you for reading that my introduction, or will try not to bore the pants off you!
I am a very young at heart 61 year old patriotic Englishman who moved to Cyprus in October 2016, with the intention of enjoying my retirement. I am a divorced father to three daughters and one son and one granddaughter and grandson all of whom live in the UK. My marriage failed about 16 years ago and for various reasons I have not yet found my special princess.
I am ex Royal Navy and spent many happy years working as a catering accountant, so I can cook some dishes however I do have a liking for creative cakes! After leaving the navy I worked for British rail for about 10 years as a travel manager at King’s Cross.
The failure of my marriage coincided with being made redundant in 2001, I didn’t go off the rails for a short period of time before embarking on a four year backpacking trip around the world.
I came back to the UK and unemployed for short periods before securing a position in a call centre in a London, initially working with Sky television, the Olympic games,KFC, Pizza Hut, Unilever and HM visas and immigration until September 2016.
I enjoyed travelling, cooking, driving and sharing new experiences wherever and whenever possible. I am looking for someone with a great personality, intelligence in fact some one with whom I can have a rewarding long lasting relationship with. I would love to meet someone from South East Asia.
