I come from a family of east European immigrants, farmers long established in Minnesota. Like many in my family I hold to old-fashioned values. Unlike some, I moved to the city and pursued Education as a career. I am now retired and widowed for four years. I would like to meet a lady who places more value on manners than on money. In the teaching profession I never made a lot of money, but gained a great many treasures of the mind and heart. I will be happy to respond to each and every lady who cares to write.
I am not an idealist and am not looking for an ideal. I would be happy to find a congenial lady who is kind and compassionate, a lover of animals, with some simple old-fashioned values.
I am presently retired, but was occupied for many tears as a teacher and private tutor, specializing in mathematics, English, and computers.
