More About Me

I've entered senior status kicking and screaming! Look my age? NO. Act my age? Um, not usually. I'm very independent, a bit feisty, but a classy lady all the same. My spirit is young at heart and I long to feel the excitement of being in love as in days gone by but I can't deny the reality that I'm not 35 years old any more, or 40 or 50. Paddling a canoe still calls to me . . . back packing or hiking not so much. A nice stroll along the strand or off the beaten path is more my speed these days. I'm open to an occasional adventure though, just as I was at 30 . . . not ready to confine myself to a rocking chair! My health is good and I'm playful as a kitten. I refuse to dress like a granny. My married daughter is my worst fashion critic. She will either keep me young or put me in an early grave!

Friends will tell you I'm a great catch and can't understand why I've remained single since my wasband left in 2001. My daughter was my priority, then assisting aging parents who have since passed on. Now I'm ready to get on with my life. I'm a great catch. Smart, fun, loyal, compassionate, creative. I live the Golden Rule and have all my life. Who I am makes a difference. Truly.

More about my Match

My ideal mate would be tall, nice looking, with good teeth, a great smile and dancing eyes. He takes care of himself, eats healthy but not a fanatic. He is honest, loyal, responsible, financially secure, optimistic, and secure in who he is. He doesn't criticize, condemn or complain. A sense of humor would be a bonus. He values family and service to others. If he is also musically inclined - plays an instrument and sings, I would think I died and went to heaven. I'm hoping the last years of my life will be the BEST years of my life. Do you want the joy of being in love again? To experience new beginnings and share favorite things? Do you like waltzing? Reading a good book or snuggling on the sofa with a good movie? How about time with family? Travel? I do. My Bucket list is waiting to be whittled down. I know what I want . . . to be cherished and appreciated . . . to feel loved unconditionally, to pray together and thank God every day for bringing us together. Will it be you?

I was born in Ireland and will be spending the summer there this year. I am open to finding my mate in Ireland and relocating . . . or vice versa.

An LDS convert in 2002 from Catholic roots. Best decision of my life altho a very misunderstood religion. Could Heavenly Father have been saving me for you?

Before I retired I spent half my career as a Law Office Paralegal and the second half as an Office Administrator/Facilities & Systems Manager
