More About Me

I suppose I will begin as most folks on here and list off a few attributive adjectives of how I think I would be described. I like to think I am honest, imaginative, caring, maybe a tad shy at first, and have been told I am a great listener. I am loyal, trusting, and loving. On the flip side, I have moments when I need to regenerate, can be a little hermit like, and not a fan of crowds. I would much rather spend my time with a few friends than a bunch of acquaintances; more of a backyard barbecue than a downtown bar kind of guy.

I do enjoy the outside and fresh air, however since honesty is best I must admit it is not how I spend most weekends. I do like to go hunting and during the month of November you would likely find me in the woods. I have recently taken up fishing but it is not a frequent activity. The kids and I enjoy walks out in the woods every now and then and I have some snowshoes I want to try out this winter. We heat the beach once or twice a summer, but not that often as I am not a huge crowds person and hey, the water is cold! Would I do any of it more often? Sure, if I had the right person to do it with. I enjoy reading and love to get lost in my writing, am a fairly decent cook, know my way around a woodshop, consider myself pretty crafty and handy, and have a very vivid imagination. Yes, I do have a gaming system (PS4) though I do not play games on it that often, and bi monthly or so I may get together with a group and roll some dice.

I can't say there is much drama in my life, no more than the average person I suppose. I know who I am, I know what I like. I have a good idea of what I would like to find in a woman, and at the top of the list would be a friend, someone that understands how important my kids are to me, has a good sense of humor, believes it is the little things that counts as well as the big things, is supportive and accepts all the same in return.
