More About Me
For 42+years I was blessed to be married to my best friend ever. About 4+years ago, she was diagnosed with Dementia. I made the decision to retire and become her 24/7 caregiver at home. Sadly, on 11.21.16 my love passed away. As incredibly sad and devastated I was; I am so happy that I was able to spend her last four years alive caring for her, being with her 24/7, and helping her complete her earthly journey. How lucky was I?
I never expected to spend my retirement years alone, and clearly do NOT want to. I have now realized that part of the “moving on” process, is to develop a relationship with “someone" to share my life with. My belief is that it is possible to find other "best friends" to build a strong, lasting relationship with.
I love to stay active, walk and try to stay in shape. I also was in the Restaurant/Hotel Industry for 37+ years, mostly in Senior Management positions, and in time became a very good cook and still like to cook. I am very loyal and honest. I would say that my being a caregiver 24/7 to my wife, speaks highly of my character, commitment, compassion and dedication.
Are you are looking for a fun loving, old fashion mature companion that wants to be in a "relationship?" Someone to share new adventures together with? A man of integrity, who loves life, and has a sense of humor?
