you have learnt the islam from the media and some anti-muslim sites. they have quoted some verses of Quran out of context to misrepresent the islam. better u buy a Quran and read the full with an intention to seek the truth in it. i dont know where u have the confusion. the non-muslims should read the whole quran sincerely. the verses that u know must have references. i mean which chapter and which verse. i give you the link of an online quran.
please go to the specific chapter and start reading from the beginning of that chapter, rather than just reading that specific verse. i m sure this would make u understand islam better than ever before.
one more thing i want to add. each verse of the Quran was sent to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) under a definite circumstances in a period of 23 years, not as a whole book at one time. the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)is the personification of the Holy Quran. so u need to read both the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran parallelly to get the full understanding of islam.

Indigo Flow - either the original poster is trying, in vane, to pull the wool over our eyes or he is seriously out of touch with the verses of his, in his opinion, holy book. I think it is the former - he is trying to fool us all in the hope we will sit back, be politically correct, stick our heads in the sand and before we know it it is too late and Islam has what it wants - world domination. The other religions who believe in one God believe He is a merciful God, not a God who advocates death and destruction and the true God's prophets were merciful, not encouraging death and wars and conquest. I realise a lot of people on connecting singles are not necessarily religious, or even believers, but it does not take a genius to work out what is happening with Islam today and every country is suffering or will be in the near future.

Ok, I ask you to post some peaceful koranic verses. Verses where peace and love and tolerance is ordered by Allah and your prophet to us Christians, Jews, Hindus, etc., and those who do not believe in God.

Do not tell me to learn the Koran as my religion is quite satisfying for me as it is.

So please quote the verses and the reference number of chapter and verse of peaceful texts.

If you do not, or cannot, then I rest my case and call Islam a religion that has its doctrines as non-peaceful.

In April 1991 he announced on the BBC's Terry Wogan show that he was the son of God, and predicted that the world would soon be devastated by tidal waves and earthquakes. The show changed his life, turning him practically overnight from a respected household name into an object of ridicule.

Allah says:

"O you who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or play,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith- but fear Allah, if you have faith (indeed)."

This verse is used to make the deen of Allah (swt) look bad. But here I will explain inshallah.

It is an obligation upon Muslims to abandon and reject people who would trespass on Allah's religion by fun or mockery weather it be politically, socially, etc.

Though this specific verse should not be used by any mean to negate the fact that among the Jews (and Christians) will be righteous people who can be good friends. They do not fight us in our religion or our homes. They can be our neighbors, colleagues, friends, co-workers...etc We will be good to them as they are good to us.

GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.

GOD enjoins you only from befriending those who fight you because of religion, evict you from your homes, and band together with others to banish you. You shall not befriend them. Those who befriend them are the transgressors.

Muslims are required to fulfill all obligations towards disbelievers living in an Islamic state. Ibn Masood narrated that Prophet Mohammad (SAS) has said, “I shall claim on behalf of the disbelievers on the Day of Judgment whosoever bothered a disbeliever living in Islamic state, When I am the claimant, I shall be the winner.”

Similarly, Ali (RU) narrated that Prophet Mohammad (SAS) has said, “Allah (SWT) has prohibited that I inflict cruelty on a disbeliever living in an Islamic State.”

Prophet Mohammad (SAS) has also said: “I shall plead on the day of judgment on behalf of a disbeliever who was harmed or whose due right was diminished or if more than bearable pressure was exerted on him or if something was taken from him without his consent by a believer.”

Prophet Mohammad (SAS) let a delegate of (Banu- Thaqeef) tribe stay in Masjid Nabawi even if they were non-muslims. It was to show them courtesy and respect.

Caliph Omar (RU) used to give scholarships to needy disbelievers from the government treasury.

Thus the relationship between believers and disbelievers is very fair, honorable and logical. May Allah (SWT) help us to live according to this guidance of the Quran and exemplary character displayed by Prophet Mohammad (SAS) and his rightly guided Caliphs.

Thus, we learn that we are only enjoined from befriending those who fight us because of religion.

Leaving aside the violent verses of the koran for the timebeing, would you please be good enough to tell me why more muslims are not standing up and denouncing the preachers of hate in your mosques. There are some muslims who do speak out against the violence, and I applaud them. I and I am sure a lot of people would like to know why more do not speak out against their fellow muslims. Are they frightened to, because the Koran states that muslims who are not religious are as bad as if they are non muslims.

now my question to u, did you ever go to any mosque where you heard the muslim leaders preaching hate and violence, or you got this idea from the media like most other people. i dont know which place of UK you are from, but if u ever go to London, then please visit london central mosque on saturday to listen by your own ears what the muslims say about the non-muslims. u can go to any mosque to learn the idea of non-muslims to us. i told you before, its not appreciable to blame the faith of more than 1.6 billion people of the world when you dont have enough knowledge about them. what you have is from the media which cant be trusted. and i talked about a video series of dr. jakir naik in my previous post to learn about the non-muslim ideas about muslim, but i think u didnt go through that video.

i told you before that each verse of the Quran has a background. and those verses are for battle field. if the non-muslims tries to invade muslim lands, then no friendship with them. but if they are our neighbours and friends, then i gave the verses (8-9) of chapter 60. i just know about the london central mosque where there is a talk for non-muslims on saturday. but you can go to any mosque to discuss with the the Imam about your questions.

In her first major test of being tough on extremism, Theresa May, the new Home Secretary, said she was banning Zakir Naik from entering the UK.

Dr Naik, a 44-year-old Indian televangelist, had been due to give a series of lectures at arenas in Wembley Arena and Sheffield.

There had been speculation that Dr Naik would be allowed into the UK. However Mrs May said she was excluding him because of the “numerous comments” he made were evidence of his “unacceptable behaviour”.

This behaviour applies to anyone who writes or publishes material which can “foment justify or glorify terrorist violence” or “seek to provoke others to terrorist acts”.

Mrs May told The Daily Telegraph: “I have excluded Dr Naik from the UK. Numerous comments made by Dr Naik are evidence to me of his unacceptable behaviour.

“Coming to the UK is a privilege not a right and I am not wiling to allow those who might not be conducive to the public good to enter the UK.

“Exclusion powers are very serious and no decision is taken lightly or as a method of stopping open debate on issues.”

Home Office sources said Dr Naik had been filmed on a website making inflammatory comments such as “every Muslim should be a terrorist”.

He said: “When a robber sees a policeman he’s terrified. So for a robber, a policeman is a terrorist. So in this context, every Muslim should be a terrorist to the robber.”

He has also been filmed saying: “There are many Jews who are good to Muslims, but as a whole … The Koran tells us, as a whole, they will be our staunchest enemy.”

In a web posting from 2006 he said: “Beware of Muslims saying Osama Bin Laden is right or wrong. I reject them … we don’t know.

“But if you ask my view, if given the truth, if he is fighting the enemies of Islam, I am for him. I don’t know what he’s doing. I’m not in touch with him. I don’t know him personally. I read the newspaper.

“If he is terrorising the terrorists, if he is terrorising America the terrorist, the biggest terrorist, every Muslim should be a terrorist.”

He is also reported to have said suggested that western women make themselves “more susceptible to rape” by wearing revealing clothing.

He reportedly said: “Western society has actually degraded to the status of concubines, mistresses and social butterflies, who are mere tools in the hands of pleasure seekers and sex marketeers”

Last night Patrick Mercer MP, the former chairman of the Commons counter-terrorism committee, said: “This is really good news. It shows that firm Government action can be taken against people.

"This is exactly the sort of man who we want to exclude from this country.”

Dr Naik has been named as the third most popular spiritual guru in India and was judged in 2009 to be 82nd in a list of India’s most powerful people.

I don't live near a mosque so hope you can answer my question about why the Muslims attacked so many countries in their campaigns of conquest.

Why did the religion of peace wage so much war and, when did they stop and, why did they?

my friend, look at the wars of the present days. who r the attackers. look at palestain, lebanon and whole middle east. look at afganistan. who is attacking. UN was built ater ww2 to take care quarrels between nations. but why the UN is silent about the invasion of iraq and afganistan by usa. if u attack me, do i have rights to defend myself? how about the prison abu gharib? my friend, may u will ask me about 911. please do some research about the 911 by urself. no need to look for what others have said. u will find the truth of 911. and it was not the muslims. u will surprisingly find that it was by the US govt itself just to creat an issue to attack iraq and afganistan. i hope u will do some research.

The UN authorized the US to take action against Iraq and, Afghanistan was the right of defence by the US to protect itself against those who attacked her.



We have confessions, evidence, witnesses, Osama Bin Laden admitting it so, when copared to a conspiracy theory, this is overwhelming proof of who did it.



I havbe done research on this subject and have seen no evidence to suggest it was anything but what is the official story.

Now, back to the warring Muslims......

Why was the religion of peace out to conquer the known world and, if so peaceful, why did they kill millions in order to convert and conquer.

And why did the Muslim religion, represented by Muslim Caliphates carry out this war against the world for over a thousand years and, when did it stop and why did it stop?

Yep once again its the medias fault for showing islamic bombings, terrorism, murder, stonings etc etc in a negative light.

Why is there entire countries filled with people who dont follow this "peaceful" islam?
does that mean they have a different quran?

Does that mean its the medias/jews/the west *etc etc* fault and has nothing at all to do with the quran and its orders to massacre pretty much anyone?
