Inconceivable nature of nature

Wow Trish, he's fantastic... this first one is my favorite and touches on some of my thoughts about things. Throughout history there are so many things around us that we didn't know existed until we created something to measure or view them with... how much more is going on around us that we just haven't figured out a way to see yet? I have this bizarre little theory, that I'm beginning to believe in more and more as they discover this whole electric universe thing. We know that our brain works on electricity, that our thoughts and emotions are electrical pulses, to put it simply I believe that this electricity is what holds our consciousness or some people might call it spirit or soul, I believe that when the physical body wears out that these electrical impulses become part of a greater consciousness, maybe some of the vast currents they are starting to see in space... I know it sounds weird, but everything they are coming up with makes me think I might not be so crazy!

I think you are right JB, I think we really are part of a magnificent greater consciousness which the true shamanistic types of souls have recognised for milennia - we are just going through a 'learning time' on earth, collectively as well as individually.

The running of the planet and the power struggles it involves have been forcefully taken over by the wrong types of personalities and they are'nt going to relinquish that hold very easily - maybe the lesson of our lifetimes is to find a way around this and to my mind, education of the masses has been the biggest step forward in this endeavour - closely follwed of course by mass communications.

The skills of 'disinformation' have been going on for centuries, lots of people think its a modern phenomena but its been going on almost as long as thinking its very self has.

All these things and many more keep us from our true meanings and the abundant beauty we are surrounded by and are intrinsic parts of, collectively as well as individually

I dont think it has to be a case of waiting till the body dies out though - we dont have to wait for death to experience these things, they have just been conditioned out of our society and the skills hidden - but they are not lost and never will be. The power balance of current society just allows for its own value system to be dominant - thankfully many of us know better and will find a way through this peacefully - we have all of eternity in our hands, science is an ongoing process and is in tune with nature - in fact, the two are indivisible.

So I'm not totally nuts then! I remember seeing a Star Trek episode, I think it was next generation... where they came across a species much further evolved. Their physical presence was a pulse of light and they were part of a vast consciousness, unfortunately mankind hadn't reached a point that they were ready to be accepted into it, but that's actually what initiated this thought process for me. I don't believe in God or heaven or hell, but I can't believe that this consciousness in each of us just ceases when the physical body dies...

It's nice to have somebody to talk to about this stuff that doesn't think I'm crazy!!
