The University of Southern Illinois has I think 20 acres Deeded to Remain untouched forever.

The land in the center of campus beside the computer building, library and physics buildings is heavily wooded as in this video but with little undergrowth due to the density of trees. Only asphalt paths ar permitted. (Unfortunately in recent years rapists have become a problem). I graduated in 1975 and recall a sigh nailed to a tree at one of the forest entries. "Two Legged Dear Hunting Season"....Well is that not what you guys are here for?
