Generous people are hard to find these days. We're all so busy taking care of ourselves that it's easy to forget about others. Fortunately not everyone is like this. Here are three signs that the man you're dating is a generous one.

1. He offers to help others

A generous man will offer to not only help the people close to him such as family and friends, but he will help strangers. He doesn't think twice about offering to help a mother with small children carry her shopping bags to her car. He will be the first to offer family or friends move, lay new flooring or plan a surprise party.

2. He volunteers

A generous man will give of his time to help others that are in need. Whether he volunteers at a soup kitchen, a food bank or a senior's home, you know he's a man who cares about the well-being of others and is willing to donate his time to helping them out and making them feel good.

3. He takes you out on dates

It's not uncommon for couples these days to go Dutch or for the woman to foot many of the bills. Some couples don't even date anymore, they just seem to fall into a full-blown relationship. If your man enjoys taking you out on dates and doesn't ask you to chip in, he is a generous man. He might not turn you down if you want to chip in, but he won't expect you too because he enjoys doing this for you.
