More About Me
First of all I live alone in my house. My two grown up Children have their own families and we meet occasionally and at special events. My wife passed awy after some years of illness. In the course of time I have realized the emptyness and lonelyness is very difficult to cope with. Therefore I hope to find a soul-mate to share my Life with.
Fairly active with a number of interests. I have taken part in the organisation that supports the school and teachers in their effort to teach the children. Also in the administration of the local swim club where our son was active for many years. During a business journey to Chicago I managed to take some time to get in contact with a swim club outside Chicago, Stingray Swim Club, which resulted in a visiting exchange between the young swimmers of Stingray Swim Club and the Swedish swimmers of Ale SK, the Swedish swim club. It started with 25 Swedish swimmers going to Liberty Ville and stayed there for a month participating in Sting Ray swim club, in training and also in competion which actually lifted their result. The next summer, 1982, the American swimmrs came to Sweden and took part in our activities the same way. The lodgings were arranged by the swimmers staying with parents of the swimmers in both countries. All behaved, no troubles at all and many made long lasting friendships.
I have also been active as politician in the local Government for more then 20 years. This sort of task is done in ones spare time in Sweden. Takes a great deal of spare time but rewarding in the way of feeling part of what is happening.
I like to be out in the nature Walking, earlier running. Also activities by the sea. I have a siling boat which I like to keep myself occupied with, especially since I became alone.
I do some reading preferably non-fiction. I am found of studying languages. Well, at least English and German..
I think I will stop before writing too much. There should be something left to talk about later.
More About my Match
It should be nice with someone who would like to do some work in the garden with me, care about the flowerbeds and make things nice around the house. On the whole my match would be perfect if we could have some common interest and at the same time agree on not sharing all of our persuits. I like sailing and not so long ago I have bought a 10 m sailing boat, Allegro 33, and it would of course be a great pleasure to find a match that also like sailing.
