En ellos expone y desarrolla los motivos de su agnoticismo, rebate los argumentos tradicionales del cristianismo, identifica el miedo como uno de los fundamentos principales de la religion cuestiona las contribuciones de la religion a la felicidad del ser humano y critica muy duramente los planteamientos del cristianismo en cuestiones sexuales. Por que no soy cristiano es una de las mas conmovedoras y convincentes defensas del no creyente que se han escrito desde los dias de Hume y Voltaire.
In this work Lord Bertrand Russell, one of the most lucid and influential thinkers of the twentieth century, brings together fourteen essays written between 1899 and 1954. In them he exposes and develops the motives of his agnosticism, rebuffs the traditional arguments of Christianity, identifies fear as one of the main foundations of religion questions the contributions of religion to the happiness of the human being and criticizes very harshly the approaches of Christianity in s*xual matters. Why I am not a Christian is one of the most moving and convincing defenses of the non-believer that have been written since the days of Hume and Voltaire.
Stangely enough I coldn`t find here another great mindshaking read "Caesars Messiah" from Joe Atwill

Russell Is great. Atwell is an ahistorical poser, with a charming theory.
