This is a book of poetry written in Spanish that I wrote several years ago in an effort to practice and improve my Spanish language skills in writing which is my second language as well as documenting that particular period of my life in free verse. I apologize if some parts of this work are awkward or unrefined to the sensibilities of a native speaker; each day I work to improve my Spanish language skills in reading comprehension, speaking and writing in the effort to enhance my fluidity and flexibility at expressing my thoughts, ideas and feelings in Spanish with the process being at times very slow or difficult. (I probably would have made better and more rapid progress if I had lived in a Spanish speaking country where I would've been immerse into the language and culture, and many things I don't readily perceive in a largely Anglo area of the United States would have been more rapidly noticed, understood, learned and mastered.)
